Well, we’re back! Having taken the plunge last season, Codicote have entered two teams in the SHAW League for 2010–2011 after a very enjoyable first season - many thanks to everyone who helped us out and gave advice.

We celebrated our first birthday on 24th August and, whilst a lot of the membership still comes from Codicote Tennis Club, we are now expanding and attracting players from elsewhere (including three of the First Team!)

This season’s teams will play in Division 3 (Codicote) and Division 4 (Codicote A) with the two squads lining up as follows:

CODICOTE

Alex Kinchin-Smith (captain), Tom Parker, Nick Bayston, Lewis Andrews, Shaun Thomas

CODICOTE A

Alan Williams (captain,) Mark Knapper, Matt Wallis, Rowan Patel, Ian Mathieson, Will Rogers, Simon Bayston, Tim Wiscarson, Zac Broad

All home matches for each team will begin at 19.30 on Monday evenings and don’t forget we’ve got a bar if you want to bring some support along (or have a drink yourself.)
